For Suwanee students From Suwanee addresses to the Duluth classroom
The City of Suwanee notes that the incorporated city covers only about 10.7 square miles, and that many people with Suwanee addresses live outside city limits, some even in Forsyth County. Whether your address is inside the city or not, class is in the same place: 3250 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Ste 201, Duluth.
Starting points such as Town Center, Suwanee Gateway or a Forsyth County mailing address each lead to different routes. Open the live directions from your address at the hour you would leave.
The first session includes check-in and course materials, so plan to arrive early. If you work at a Gateway business or elsewhere outside Suwanee, run the directions from your job instead of your home.
Suwanee City Hall and Town Center Park are not classrooms. Armed students should read the range details on their Bookeo date.
Suwanee's parks, public art and Town Center crowds
Suwanee Town Center, at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Buford Highway, is a public-private district of more than 63 acres built on a former industrial site. Town Center Park has the Big Splash interactive fountain and event lawns, and a pedestrian tunnel connects it to Town Center on Main and DeLay Nature Park, with trails, a reading grotto and a hilltop waterfall. The city says Town Center hosts concerts, festivals, farmers markets, races, holiday celebrations and cultural events through the year. Busy fountains, tunnels and lawns are spaces where officers learn to watch sightlines and keep paths open.
The city says it has over 600 acres of parkland and miles of trails, much of it protected through a voter-approved open space program, and the city runs the SculpTour public art program, with PlayTown Suwanee near downtown. Big parks and outdoor art collections invite patrol presence and vandalism reporting.
Suwanee's 2040 plan describes Suwanee Gateway as serving regional commercial and employment needs, which is where hotels, retail and offices typically need lobby and parking coverage.
Suwanee's Town Center on Main connects to downtown through a pedestrian tunnel, and PlayTown Suwanee adds a playground draw for families. Tunnels, bridges and play areas are exactly the spots where officers check sightlines, lighting and lost-child plans.
