For Duluth students Training in Duluth, at the Academy's own classroom
The Private Eye Protection Academy classroom is in Duluth at 3250 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Ste 201, Duluth, GA 30096. If you live in the city, you are training in your own town, not commuting across the county.
Duluth still covers a fair amount of ground, from downtown and the Town Green to neighborhoods by the Chattahoochee and the Pleasant Hill Road commercial area, so open the directions link from your own address. Look up parking and the suite entrance the day before so the first morning is not rushed.
Because Duluth students are local, it is tempting to cut arrival close. Do not. Day one starts with check-in and course materials, and you will want to be settled before instruction begins. Give yourself a buffer and keep the Academy number, 678-878-3152, handy in case you need to reach staff from the parking lot.
The classroom is a training room, not a firing range. Armed students should read the range qualification details on the Bookeo listing for their date, since live fire is handled as described there.
Duluth's economy and venues, seen through a security lens
Duluth's economic development office lists its main sectors as medical and health care, information technology, industrial distribution and manufacturing, and automotive repair. The city notes almost 115 foreign-owned firms and two Fortune 500 headquarters, AGCO and Asbury Automotive. Corporate campuses and international offices tend to run staffed lobbies, visitor badges and after-hours checks, which is the access control and documentation side of the Unarmed course.
Then there is entertainment. The city's own calendar promotes Art Month, Fridays-N-Duluth and Howl on the Green in a walkable downtown. Downtown festivals and concerts bring the line management, bag checks and calm radio communication that new officers practice in training.
Parks round it out. Duluth's parks department runs Bunten Road Park, Rogers Bridge Park on the river, Scott Hudgens Park, Taylor Park and others. Large parks with trails and fields need patrol presence and people who write accurate reports.
For Duluth residents the Academy's location is a real advantage: a local student can finish the Complete Package without a cross-county commute, then look for work in the same city's offices, venues and parks. That proximity is a practical point, not a promise of employment. The city also counts two Fortune 500 headquarters among its businesses, which shows how much corporate office space sits close to the classroom.
