For Peachtree Corners students Peachtree Corners residents and the Duluth classroom
Peachtree Corners covers the southwest corner of Gwinnett, with the Chattahoochee River on its western edge and Berkeley Lake and Norcross as neighbors. The Academy classroom at 3250 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Ste 201, in Duluth is to the northeast, and that is where every classroom session meets.
The city is large, from Technology Park and the Town Center on Peachtree Parkway to river neighborhoods near Jones Bridge and Simpsonwood. Use the live directions from your own street at the hour you would set out.
Some Peachtree Corners residents work inside Technology Park and may head to class straight from the office. If so, run the route from your workplace rather than your home, and check it at the hour you would really leave. Plan to arrive early on the first day to find Suite 201.
City Hall and the Town Green are not class locations. Armed students will find range details on the Bookeo date they choose.
Technology, a town green and river parks
The city runs Curiosity Lab, a living laboratory inside a 500-acre technology park with a 5G-enabled, 3-mile autonomous vehicle test track where, according to the city, thousands of people and vehicles interact every day. The city describes Curiosity Lab as open free of charge to startups, Fortune 500 companies and academic researchers. Offices and test facilities like these tend to depend on badge access, visitor control and accurate logs, which are core parts of the access control unit in the Unarmed course.
The Town Center is the other hub: a 21-acre development with more than 15 restaurants, shops, offices, townhomes and a 2-plus-acre Town Green that hosts the Peachtree Corners Concert Series and Flicks on the Green. The green has a VoxStage, a 22-foot display, a splash pad, a dog park and a veterans monument, and a pedestrian bridge crosses Peachtree Parkway to the Forum. Concerts on a public lawn next to busy retail mean steady foot traffic and people crossing in and out of parking areas.
Along the river, Jones Bridge, Simpsonwood and Holcomb Bridge parks offer fishing, tubing and trails. Trailheads and boat put-ins benefit from patrol presence and from officers who know basic first aid.
The Corners Connector, the city's pedestrian and bicycle trail system, links the Town Center with surrounding areas, so foot and bike traffic flows between offices, apartments and retail all day.
